GURPS Fallout: And All That Jazz
Known in the “mainstream” timeline as Abbott Park, Abbott Field contains the remnants of an old school building, sports fields, and a dried-out pool (currently unused). The school building has been adapted to become Big Boss Capo’s headquarters. Inside, the auditorium has been converted into a wind-powered mill; a Chinese-made adaptor provides additional electrical power when there are no grain-related tasks to perform. Outside, the whole park/building complex is ringed with a seven-foot high wall of scrap metal and rusted-out cars. Wooden gates give access to the old recreation yard, which is where caravans and vendors park and hawk their wares for trade. Back behind the field, near the old pool, Big Boss Capo rents out kilns for breadmaking. The Boss has hired goons of a number of different races and of both genders to defend his turf; he projects power in an uneven and rather contested fashion in about a five-to-ten mile radius from Abbott Field with these toughs.
